Clove Harvest at Treetop Height

A local farmer harvests cloves from the top of a towering tree, balancing more than 10 meters above the ground on a simple bamboo ladder. In Bali’s mountain villages, this traditional method is still used to collect the valuable spice by hand during the harvest season.
