Clouds Over Lake Tamblingan

At an elevation of about 1,239 meters, low clouds drift across the forested slopes surrounding Lake Tamblingan in Bali's central highlands. Sunlight briefly breaks through the mist, illuminating patches of untouched rainforest along the volcanic crater lake. The cool mountain climate and frequent cloud cover create a peaceful and ever-changing atmosphere high above the tropical coast.
